Wraparound Care
This is provided by Active Me 360
Monday to Thursday 3:15 to 5:45
From 2 September 2026, wraparound care at Barton Stacey CE Primary is provided by ActiveMe 360, a local, provider with an established track record running wraparound care and holiday programmes across Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and West Sussex. Every session of their Ofsted-registered provision is led by qualified, DBS-checked coaches, and as a social enterprise, ActiveMe 360 reinvests 65% of its profits back into programmes supporting local children and families.
Booking is flexible, there's no minimum commitment, you book only the sessions you need, and you can change your pattern week to week as your needs change. Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers are accepted.
Breakfast Club — School Hall
The breakfast club gives children a calm, settled start to the day. Drop-off is at the School Hall, to the left of reception, from 7:20am.
After School Care - Pre-school building (Monday to Thursday)
Mission Active runs straight after school until 4:30pm and is open to every child, whether or not they need extended care afterwards. Each day brings a different coached sports or creative session that repeats weekly by term, with a healthy fruit snack served to start. Here is an example timetable:
- Monday — Dodgeball / Imaginative Play & Construction
- Tuesday — Tag Rugby / Fun with Food
- Wednesday — Basketball / Science & Nature
- Thursday — Football / Arts & Crafts
Explorer Zone follows straight on from Mission Active until 5:45pm — children move through automatically, with no extra collection needed in between. It's a relaxed, supervised session where children choose their own activities: games, books, arts & crafts or more sport, with a more substantial meat-free snack on a two-week rotating menu. Collection is from Paint Pots Nursery.
