Junior Road Safety Officers
We have three Junior Road Safety officers within school who have attended a training course with the Hampshire road safety team. Their role within school is to promote safety around our roads and encourage our families to walk, ride and cycle to school where possible.
This year they have created a presentation for the school and promoted and led our Be Bright Be Seen Day.
Our Junior Road Safety Officers launched a competition with our Junior pupils this week, to design an A4 poster promoting the Green Cross Code. All entries need to be returned to Mrs Griggs by Monday 5 February, who will forward them on to the road safety team at Hampshire County Council. The winning entry will be used as a poster within all Hampshire schools to promote road safety.
